Mo Isu is a writer, creator and audio producer currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. He covers stories about the human experience and seeks to connect people. Much of his writing is inspired by his anxiety about his path as a storyteller.

He graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering. He works frequently for Imisi 3D where he assists with research projects including VR4Schools and The Africa XR Report.

He has been producing audio stories since 2019. He created and ran the Inside a Bubble podcast for two years. He led podcast production at Voix Collective between 2021 & 2023 and produces the It happened in Nigeria podcast. He was an audio engineer on the I like Girls podcast for three seasons. He also produces stories with the youth focused podcast Radio Workshop. He produced an episode about flooding in Nigeria for the Inherited podcast

Mo Isu was a 2023 participant of the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière ****Sound Documentary Summer Program.

His writing has been published in the Kalahari Review, We will lead Africa: Volume 3 and Women community leaders and their impact as global changemakers

When not making audio stories, he is reading a book or listening to good music.

He is also interested in design, science, movies, psychology, art, people, weird blogs, stories about hope, newness, learning and language.
